From October 22nd to 27th, Zhao Honglin, a consultant of Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd. (formerly the Chairman of Shagang Group Australia), and Yang Bing, Deputy General Manager of Furnace Material Department II of Zhejiang Metals and Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "inspection team"), led by Li Yang, Manager of the Operation-Management Department of MIG, visited New Tonkolili Iron ore project of Leone Rock Metal Group in Sierra Leone.
During the visit, the inspection team focused on visiting projects such as the 12 million ton beneficiation plant, heavy oil power station, 10 million ton beneficiation plant, and Sambili mining site. At the same time, the inspection team conducted on-site visits to the cargo terminal, loading machines, oil terminal, unloading station, yard and other infrastructure of Pepel Port (iron ore export port). On the 26th, the inspection team went to Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, to have a discussion and exchange with the CEO of Leone Rock Metal Group.
New Tonkolili iron ore project is an important iron ore trading resource for MIG. The purpose of the inspection team's visit is to gain a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the overall situation of New Tonkolili iron ore project, enhance understanding, and lay a solid foundation for cooperation in production, construction, trade logistics, and other fields in the future.
